Sse wont launch after mod download

My first "gut instinct" is to re-validate your game files masters and make sure SKSE64 and all mods requiring it are updated to the correct "current" version. That may not solve the issue, but it will remove any uncertainty and let us zero in quicker. Last edited by Avrie ; 1 Nov, am.

Also some other questions: Which versions of skse64 and the skyrimse. Which mod manager are you using? Is this happening with an ongoing game, or a fresh save? Is this the first time you have tried loading the game with all those mods, or have you been playing with some of them? More backround info would help us narrow down the problem. That should work for a start. I am not able to start the game at all, so cannot even load a save and I have toaded the game twice, once before modding it to create the.

Honestly, I don't see it as worth it to go through and disable each mod to find the culprit, because it just sounds endearing, I would honestly rather start again, but I would like to be able to play the game with this mod list. Last edited by tal ; 1 Nov, am. Originally posted by Ilja :.

If not, you might want to post your full modding list, but I'm fairly sure its skse. I was trying to run the wrong version! Trying to run vanilla Skyrim mods with Special Edition can cause a failure to launch the game.

I assumed something to do with my inexperience with modding PC games was to blame. I am using Mod Organiser 2, and adjusting my load order according to the Master List document, and by adding and testing one mod at a time. Why am I doing it manually? Because Loot causes an error everytime I try to use it!

It will not only sort your load order, but it will notify you of detected conflicts before you try to run anything.

Install your mods only 4 or 5 at a time, then see if you can load the game. Make sure the mods you have also have any compatibility patches made for them to interface with other mods installed.
